About Sherlock Rings & Flanges

Sherlock Rings & Flanges entered this world on April 17, 1981, and became a Limited Liability Company in 2007.

The intervening 40 years has seen a steady advance in a lifelong apprenticeship.

Initially, machinery came from Sherlock & Cotton Engineers (a family firm), with this equipment still giving sterling service today, although supplemented with larger, more modern machines.

All the section formers are of Swedish manufacture (Pullmax, Kumla, and Roundo), thus providing a sound basis for the power and accuracy demanded.

A generous floor area permits the laying out of larger radius sections to ensure on-the-line accuracy, with the assistance of heavy overhead gantry craneage.

The trust and confidence clients have in this service is surely confirmed, with work having been sent abroad to such destinations as Antarctica, Bahrein, Australia, the Philippines, and even the upper slopes of Mount Everest.
